AdWriter® and The AdVantage System® software have been essential tools for Realtor-advertisers to effectively and efficiently target their audiences for decades. The concept was developed by Douthit Communications, Inc. chairman Harold K. Douthit, who commissioned marketing studies into homebuyer and homeseller behavior in the marketplace. In fact, AdWriter’s Externet® web based magazine utilizes this information and “collaborative filtration,” the same concept used to determine consumer buying patterns for Amazon.com, to help the buyer locate relevant properties faster. Ads are produced with precise copy in any size and any format, in English or Spanish, all based on extensive research into buyer’s habits and behaviors. The AdVantage System also controls the creation of entire homes magazines and helps track the advertising history. An agent or office can review previous listings, write ads for properties to be advertised on any given day and electronically mark them for publication.
